The EPN 2023 Gift Guide — Thoughtful gifts for those you love.

I love gifting. Thinking specifically about the person, their habits, routines, personality, needs, wants, desires — and choosing something I know they will love.

Things like a beautifully wrapped chocolate bar or a handmade mug with my favorite tea tucked inside.

Everything I picked below evokes ritual and beauty with a few practical items too.

Here’s how I use them personally —

1. Making a cup of Rishi genmaicha tea in my Notary ceramics mug + a few shards of Spring & Mulberry chocolate

2. Cooking dinner with Chef’s Garden produce stored in my Jenni Kayne baskets + Westbourne avocado oil and Diaspora spices

3. Winding down with a cup of Agni peppermint tea (with a dropper of Rainbo mushrooms) + an Agni oatmeal chocolate chip cookie

Most aren’t affiliate links. I simply wanted to share them to inspire you and support smaller, mostly women-owned businesses.

I hope you Enjoy this Curated collection. Happy Holidays!

Erin’s 2023 Holiday Gift Guide

Spring & Mulberry Chocolate — These have to be the prettiest chocolate bars ever + the flavors are so unique and I love the chewy bits of dried fruit studded throughout. They’re also dark chocolate and sweetened with dates making them a healthier, yet still decadent option. I’ve been eating a few shards nightly with a cup of my Agni peppermint tea.

Westbourne Avocado Oil — This set is such a great hostess gift that’s also good for the environment. The refined avocado oil is great for everyday cooking, but you’ve never experienced a salad or avocado toast to they’re fullest potential if you’ve not drizzled emerald green extra virgin avocado oil over the top.

Notary Ceramics Mug — I’m building my collection of Sarah’s beautiful ceramics. I have a lamp, several mugs, and dishware from her. I’ll also often gift her serving pieces as wedding presents.

Rainbo Mushroom Elixirs — I’ve been adding mushrooms to my coffee for years now and I truly believe they help in so many ways, from buffering my immune system to helping me focus during the day and wind down in the evening. The bestsellers bundle includes a blend with 11 mushrooms (my go-to in coffee) and lion’s mane which I’ll add to boost productivity based on what I’ve got going the rest of the day. Reishi is my go-to for adding to my nighttime cup of tea to help me relax. (The link should give you $11 off your first order.)

Diaspora Co. Spices — I wish this company was around when I was first learning to cook Indian food. They focus on procuring the highest quality spices while paying living wages to farmers and support sustainability + regenerative agricultural practices. If you’re curious about expanding your spice cabinet, I’d suggest the garam masala, tikka masala, pragati turmeric, and pink garlic to start.

Rishi TEA & Botanicals — The genmiacha tea is a daily ritual for me either late morning or for an afternoon pick-me-up before getting Leena from school. Their sourcing is excellent and there’s something about making a loose leaf tea that’s the epitome of self-care.

Agni for All Women’s Health Box — Who wouldn’t want to eat cookies for hormone health? I’ve been a fan of this brand since trying to get pregnant and actually became friends with the now CEO during our fertility journey together. I love their teas, seed cycling blends, and cookies for a healthier sweet treat. Try keeping them in the freezer and eating them cold — so good. Use the code ERIN20 for 20% off anytime and 45% off during Black Friday.

Jenni Kayne Seagrass Baskets — I use these baskets for all my produce storage on the counter and they make me smile daily + are so practical. They hold anything from garlic and shallots to avocado and winter squash.

Chef’s Garden Vegetable Boxes — This small Ohio farm started out selling most of it’s crop to speciality restaurants, but then the pandemic happened and they shifted gears to home delivery. We have a box of organic, regenerative seasonal vegetables delivered almost weekly and it’s always such a treat opening it to see what’s inside. I’ll often gift vegetables to a client, because what else would your nutritionist send? (The link will give $5 off your first order, and they often have free shipping too.)
